Good Friday 2

The Good Friday altar frontal depicts the five wounds of Christ ‘torn’ from rough black hessian to reveal the red of blood.  The sharp star shapes also represent the violence of crucifixion.  The arrangement of  these ‘stars’ reflect the Southern Cross to show the connection of His sacrifice to our Ausralian context.
